La proc\u00e9dure permet de d\u00e9terminer l&rsquo;intensit\u00e9 sonore minimale qu&rsquo;une personne est capable de percevoir \u00e0 diff\u00e9rentes fr\u00e9quences.<\/p>\n\n<p>Le r\u00e9sultat de l&rsquo;examen est un audiogramme, un graphique qui montre clairement les seuils d&rsquo;audition pour chaque oreille. Il s&rsquo;agit de l&rsquo;\u00e9talon-or en mati\u00e8re de diagnostic de la perte auditive, qui permet de d\u00e9terminer la pr\u00e9sence, le degr\u00e9 et le type de d\u00e9ficience auditive.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x43C;&#x435;&#x442;&#x43E;&#x434;&#x438;&#x43A;&#x430;-&#x43F;&#x440;&#x43E;&#x432;&#x435;&#x434;&#x435;&#x43D;&#x438;&#x44F;-&#x438;-&#x432;&#x438;&#x434;&#x44B;\"><strong>Proc\u00e9dure et types<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>L&rsquo;examen est r\u00e9alis\u00e9 dans une chambre insonoris\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;un appareil sp\u00e9cial appel\u00e9 audiom\u00e8tre. Le patient met un casque audio et le m\u00e9decin lui fait \u00e9couter des signaux sonores (tons purs) de fr\u00e9quence et de volume variables. Le m\u00e9decin demande au patient d&rsquo;appuyer sur le bouton chaque fois qu&rsquo;il entend un son.<\/p>\n\n<p>Principaux types d&rsquo;audiom\u00e9trie\u00a0:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Audiom\u00e9trie du seuil tonal.<\/strong>  D\u00e9finit le niveau sonore minimal (seuil d&rsquo;audibilit\u00e9) qu&rsquo;une personne peut entendre \u00e0 un ensemble standard de fr\u00e9quences (g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement de 125 \u00e0 8000\u00a0Hz). La conduction a\u00e9rienne (via des \u00e9couteurs) et la conduction osseuse (\u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;un vibrateur osseux appliqu\u00e9 sur la r\u00e9gion masto\u00efdienne) sont toutes deux examin\u00e9es.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Audiom\u00e9trie vocale.<\/strong>  Elle \u00e9value la capacit\u00e9 du patient \u00e0 percevoir et \u00e0 comprendre la parole \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents niveaux de volume. Ceci permet de d\u00e9terminer dans quelle mesure la perte auditive affecte la communication sociale.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x43A;&#x43B;&#x438;&#x43D;&#x438;&#x447;&#x435;&#x441;&#x43A;&#x43E;&#x435;-&#x437;&#x43D;&#x430;&#x447;&#x435;&#x43D;&#x438;&#x435;\"><strong>Importance clinique<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>L&rsquo;audiom\u00e9trie est une m\u00e9thode essentielle en audiologie et en oto-rhino-laryngologie. L&rsquo;analyse de l&rsquo;audiogramme permet au m\u00e9decin non seulement de confirmer la perte auditive, mais aussi d&rsquo;en d\u00e9terminer la nature.<\/p>\n\n<p>En comparant les seuils de conduction a\u00e9rienne et osseuse, il est possible de diff\u00e9rencier le type de perte auditive\u00a0:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Perte d&rsquo;audition conductive.<\/strong>  La conduction a\u00e9rienne est alt\u00e9r\u00e9e, mais la conduction osseuse est normale. Indique un probl\u00e8me au niveau de l&rsquo;oreille externe ou de l&rsquo;oreille moyenne (par ex. bouchon de c\u00e9rumen, otite, otoscl\u00e9rose).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Perte d&rsquo;audition neurosensorielle (neurosensorielle).<\/strong>  La conduction a\u00e9rienne et la conduction osseuse sont r\u00e9duites de mani\u00e8re \u00e9gale.
