En condiciones de disbiosis y aumento del pH, las bacterias anaerobias (principalmente los cocobacilos <em>Gardnerella vaginalis<\/em> y <em>Atopobium vaginae<\/em>) expresan factores de adhesi\u00f3n (pilosidades, fimbriae). La presencia de m\u00e1s del 20% de c\u00e9lulas clave en el campo de visi\u00f3n se considera un criterio obligatorio (seg\u00fan Amsel y Nugent) para el diagn\u00f3stico de <strong>vaginosis bacteriana<\/strong>.
