Das Epithel, das die Wand der Zyste auskleidet, ist histologisch identisch mit der Geb\u00e4rmutterschleimhaut: Es besitzt Hormonrezeptoren und menstruiert innerhalb des geschlossenen Raumes. Das sich ansammelnde Blut hat keinen Ausgang, es unterliegt einer H\u00e4molyse und Verdickung. H\u00e4moglobin transformiert sich in H\u00e4mosiderin und verleiht dem Inhalt das charakteristische Aussehen von &#8222;fl\u00fcssiger Schokolade&#8220; oder Teer.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-&#x43A;&#x43B;&#x438;&#x43D;&#x438;&#x447;&#x435;&#x441;&#x43A;&#x43E;&#x435;-&#x437;&#x43D;&#x430;&#x447;&#x435;&#x43D;&#x438;&#x435;\"><strong>Klinische Signifikanz<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Endometriome haben einen ausgepr\u00e4gten negativen Einfluss auf das reproduktive Potenzial: Sie \u00fcben mechanisch Druck auf das gesunde Ovargewebe aus, was zu Isch\u00e4mie und Fibrose f\u00fchrt. Zudem besch\u00e4digt der toxische Zysteninhalt (freies Eisen, Zytokine) die Oozyten in benachbarten Follikeln (Reduzierung des ovariellen Reservats und AMH-Spiegels).
